A VOLVO event, congregating 52 Swedish carriers at GTO’s headquarters

Swedish company VOLVO visited the headquarters of GTO last Friday, 21st of April, together with 52 Swedish carriers from the same country, who visited our facilities in Huelva, learning about some of our working methods in the sector of refrigerated transport.

During the event, our visitors were able to understand how our company operates and the methodology implemented in our facilities, leaving a lasting impression which allowed for GTO to act as an exceptional host.

Most of our team collaborated during this visit. The 52 guests were divided into two groups and, in opposite order, were guided through every corner of our facilities by our experienced team, tasted our delicious breakfast buffet and attended a detailed presentation by the management of the company.

In approximately two and a half hours, our visitors had the chance to learn profoundly the complexity of the working process, given the delicacy of the fruit we transport, something they discovered when they were invited to taste the exquisite berries offered during breakfast. By doing so, they could also have an idea of the huge possibilities of our land regarding raw materials.

In addition, the 52 Swedish carriers had the opportunity to see firsthand the high level of our official VOLVO workshop, like the quality of body and painting works and the great conditioning of our tires and refrigerated storage areas.

The event consecrated the partnership between VOLVO and GTO after 25 years of working together with the same philosophy, sharing a workshop and a fleet of the highest level, which has formed very productive synergies for all our customers.
